Digital Media Literacy - Final Project

Before you read this blog post, I was not able to publish it correctly. There are different fonts and spaces. It is not listening to my commands! Yoga is a lifestyle!  It’s been around for six to eight thousand years, and consists of eight branches.  We usually practice only one branch of the eight, which are asanas (the poses). There is  abundant research that shows the numerous benefits of yoga. They include, but are not limited to, strength, flexibility, decreased anxiety and stress, improved posture, and better sleep.         When I taught in New York City, every Friday, I would come home from school and sit in front of my TV in a vegetative state from my hectic week.  I decided, before going home, I would work out.   Timeline  JS Easy-to-make, beautiful timelines. TimelineJS is an open-source tool that enables anyone to build visually rich, interactive timelines.   Beginners can create a timeline using nothing more than a Google spread sheet. Steps: 1) Get onto to TimelineJS 2) Click onto Make a Timeline 3) Click onto Get the Spreadsheet Template 4) Make a copy of the template onto your own Google drive account by clicking onto Use This Template 5) Customize the template by adding in your information 6) Start with the header 7) Move onto further slides   Each ______ on the spreadsheet is a separate event   For each event you can type a start and end date   Work with several types of media to add onto spreadsheet   Don’t edit the column headers   Don’t leave any blank rows in your spread sheet   It is recommended to not have more than 20 slides  8) Publish it to the web  Go to file and click publish to web
